Milos Villas Complex

We liked everything! We spent family vocation with 2 kids there. Host Manolis ir very helpfull and friendly. He gives good advices about area (try restaurant Philosofia that he suggests). Villa is great for 1 or 2 families - both bedrooms and bathrooms are on different levels. Pool is clean and fresh, shops, tavernas and restaurants are reachable by walk, villa is well equipped

We were met on arrival by Manolis who showed us around the property and explained all the workings of everything. He had a map ready for us and had kindly marked places of interest, nice places to eat, a good supermarket and bakery. He left us to spend our holiday privately but he kept in touch every few days to make sure we were happy and if he could help in any way. We were very impressed.

There was nothing that we could fault with this property

We regularly stay in villas for our holidays. The pool at this one was the cleanest, best maintained we have ever had. Overall the villa was very clean, well equipped and well maintained in a good location. The owner Manolis greeted us on arrival, he was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this villa.

We visited Milos Villas end of August - the perfect time for summer holidays in Greece and the perfect house for 4-6 persons. It was wonderful. Pefkos is a small village, not that crowded but with a lot of restaurants. The appartment itself isn’t in the centre but in very calm area, you don’t hear any traffic or tourists noise. Just pure holidays The house was perfectly designed and equipped. It comes in modern architecture and was super clean. We didn’t miss any kitchen tool or machine. 3 air conditions, washing machine, dish washer, coffee machine and a complete oven - it was all there. Outside there is a pool and a small garden with almond trees, whine and fig trees. Relaxing. Manolis - our contact for the 2 weeks was very kind, honest and tried to make all our wishes possible. Just perfect. We will come back! 100% recommendation to this wonderful place for summer vacation.

The house was absolutely amazing. Its in a very peaceful location away from the tourist crowd but still close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We had everything we needed for a week vacation in home. The kitchen is fully equiped to cook simple dishes. Everything was super clean and got cleaned once during our stay. Pool was a highlight. We spent most of our time by the pool and did not even need to walk to the beach which is very nice and super close as well. The terrace is absolutely amazing to watch sunset and relax. Our host Manolis was very helpful with everything. He greeted us on our arrival and always checked on us during our stay. He always asked if we need anything and helped us with finding the best restaurants to calling a taxi. We really enjoyed our stay and will come again!

Wow wow wow. A fabulous place. 10 minute walk from the centre of Pefkos and a lovely quiet location. We stayed in Villa Arete which had everything you could need for a holiday. Lovely pool, excellent air con, fast reliable WiFi and comfortable beds. The pool is cleaned daily and there is a midweek clean of the apartment including fresh towels. There are plenty of shady areas to avoid the sun (it was very hot during our stay), including a lovely terrace area with seating and a table. The apartment is really spacious over 3 floors. Good local amenities in Pefkos including a nice bakery and good local restaurants which seemed less expensive than Lindos down the road. (I've also posted some Google reviews of these) There is a lovely sandy beech (Kavos) 10 minutes walk away and a rocky snorkeling beech 15 mins walk in the opposite direction. And the host Manolis.. what can I say.. what a lovely chap. Very passionate about his properties and very helpful. He provides good information on the local area and is contactable readily. He goes out of his way to make your stay special. He really was an excellent host.

Everything was great. Minolis was there to greet us when we arrived and made sure we were happy throughout our stay. There were 4 of us staying in the Gema villa, with 2 teenage boys and there was plenty space. Loved the pool and the villa itself was perfect, with everything we needed.

There was some misunderstanding on arrival. I had expected someone to be on the property to greet us. We did not realise we perhaps had to knock on Manolis's door when we arrived? We were looking for Villa Arete which we found easily, and as the keys were there, we thought we were able to get settled. The kids wanted to get into the pool, so we just got on with it. I think all was fine, but maybe it is best to communicate how to access on arrival. As a villa not a hotel, we expected instant access....which we got! I really appreciated the washing machine tablets and dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls and the amount provided. Appreciated some water being in the fridge on arrival. The beds were very comfy and much better than most holiday accommodations. Appreciated the pool toys/inflatable to use Appreciated the AC. The access to facilities eg. shops/restaurants/beaches was great, but far enough away from the main strip/noise. Easy comms with Manolis if needed (once connected to internet, or using texts)

These comments explain the 'good' not 'excellent' overall review. Some more detailed communication over the pool cleaning, ie. about the chlorine tablets and time of cleaning, to set expectations We liked to swim early in the morning. A 4 hr wait for the cleaning process was too much. Luckily this was swapped for the tablets. Perhaps this comms would have been done at the arrival, which of course was slightly different for us! The parking entry is very narrow and very unforgiving. With a hire car where every scratch matters, the entrance to the villa was pretty unusable, unless you have a tiny car! This meant the car was a little distance from the property. The canopy was very useful for shade, initially it seemed very narrow, however once used to the car we could use as designed, ie. for 2 cars. The clocks - there are multiple clocks in the property, but none of them showed the correct time. Given how frequently the property is accessed, this shows some lack of diligence. The bathroom mesh was broken on arrival, as was the case with the villa next door. We asked for this to be fixed which it was promptly (concerned about big bugs coming in!) I did notice this was mentioned in a previous review, so was a bit surprised to see a sense check was not done on the properties! The upstairs toilet....unless the flush is positioned a particular way, the water runs through the toilet continuously. You get used to the toilet flush and how to manipulate it, but is sub optimal. The water spray to the left of the toilet leaks. If it is used to clean the toilet, it leaks water all over the floor. However the villa was very clean and easy to keep clean, and had great facilities in the kitchen.

We liked everything about this villa and holiday. Perfectly situated, so it was quiet all the time, but just a short walk into town. Manolis was the perfect host. There to greet us and see us off, and always available if required. It's obvious that the villas are not just a business, but a passion. He truly cares you have the best time possible, so nothing was a problem. We will visit again. Thanks
