We had a wonderful time! The unit is luxurious and equipped with the best appliances. The beds are super comfortable. Can definately recommend it.

The owner's attention to detail was experienced from the very start. Explicit instructions and directions were given the day before our check-in date. We especially appreciated the warning regarding an undesirable gravel road (which Maps apps would calculate as the shortest route), with an alternative road recommended. Key collection was effortless. Once checked in, the owner responded to all questions and requests via text message. The house had everything we needed, was spacious and the pool was a great escape from the high temperatures. The restaurant and shop complex in Marloth Park had everything we needed, a little supermarket, butchery, home industry, liquor store and a very nice restaurant called Bos with very good service and food. The waterpark was an absolute hit with the kids.

Outside of the owner's control was the construction happening on the neighbouring site that disturbed the silence of nature for 2 days during our stay. The owners of the waterpark should consider a multi-day pass at a discounted rate for holiday goers.

Seems to be a new area so a fair amount of construction around.

Very spacious and comfortable with a large covered patio area and plunge pool. Kitchen has everything for a longer stay.

Unfortunately there is construction next door and across the road currently so it was quite noisy during the day. The patio is open to the road so you also get the noise from passing vehicles. Would be better with some privacy screening of some sort on that side.

Lion Hill @Kruger is a well equipped house in Marloth Park with the advantage of not experiencing load shedding in its full extent. Since the lights are connected to some kind of a generator, we didn’t have to sit in the dark during load shedding, which felt great. Having a washer and dryer in the house also helped us getting everything ready again for our next stop where we wouldn’t have the option to wash our clothes, which was a big plus when traveling with kids.

We had a bit a hard time connecting to the WiFi, but the owner was very quick in his response and help!

House and setting amazing, very well equipped neat and clean. Animals come and visit you at the house it’s really awesome.

Construction of new houses just started next door and across the road so extremely noisy all day including Saturdays, ruined what should have been a nice peaceful weekend in the bush.
