Blue Water Cottage - with beachfront coastal views

Absolutely love the location of Blue Water Cottage! The view to the sea is great, it was delightful to be in the kitchen and living area each morning, enjoying the view. All the appliances in the house worked well and it was clean and tidy upon arrival. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom clean and ready to use. Altogether this added up to a very enjoyable rental.

It could be a lot easier to receive the code for the door keys. Our son had to ring up and find this out, after 2 phone calls and waiting time, we finally achieved this! A bit much after 27 hours flight from the UK! The lighting in the cottage was very dim at night - more powerful light bulbs needed! The cottage needs considerable renovation if it should continue to be rented out - part of the corner of the roof seemed to be hanging loose, which was worrying with the winds experienced during our stay, the wind also came through the windows (48kph gusts!) which made the house cooler. (This cottage would not meet the standards for holiday rental in the UK) There was a lack of storage was a bit of an issue, ie drawers for clothing in bedrooms and lack of space for any food in the kitchen.

The appliances need maintenance. The fridge froze everything and the shower support fell down. Does anyone actually park in the garage - way to hard to get into. Might be nice to have more than just 4 plates etc.
