Lovely Cottage

Location very quiet, but that's what we wanted. Hosts very helpful and quick to respond. Very comfortable for a couple and one child.

(1) Nice clean (immaculate) and cosey house. Every thing was new and working. (2) Lost of things to do near by for children (Beach, Sea Life centre, Bug Park, & Farm Fred park) (3) Great pub ant the ned of the road (good beer and hot food).

The cottage really is lovely, very pretty. Nicely decorated throughout. Good parking and garden was a bonus! Kitchen well equipped. Nice touches with bottle of wine were great. Instructions in folder very detailed and useful.

Shower/bathroom was quite cold even with the radiator on. Lots of condensation, causing wet floor - even with fan on and having window open after use of the shower. I mopped up the wet with towels and kitchen roll. Water ran cold after three of the family had a relatively quick shower! We understand that a small cottage only has a small tank :-)

The Cottage was lovely.

Unfortunately the cottage was freezing cold. My wife sat with her coat on the first evening. We tried to adjust the radiators but to no avail!!! Gave up after the first night and went home.

It was a compact property, but perfect for a couple. The weather was frigid when we arrived but the host had kindly left the heating on all day for us to warm the house up and also provided a wonderful wood burner and wood that saved the day and cheered us up no end. Note that the single bathroom is on the ground floor.

Just a word of caution, the stairs are very steep and narrow to reach the bedrooms and if you are bringing significant luggage it will be a challenge to get it up there.

New fixtures and fittings downstairs. New Kitchen and Modern shower.

Main bed very hard mattress. Under sheet not clean and stained. Door frames a bit low my husband hit his head.

It was acceptable for 2 grown ups + a teenager , which should have been clearly stated

Toilets and shower room is downstairs Very small shower room as well as cubicle Stairs are very narrow and windy , issue at all times more so during nights
