Swallow Dale - Large Family Cottage

The house was perfect size for 6 people and location was excellent. Easy walking distance to beaches and restaurants.

I find it amazing that a place as nice as this would skimp on basic amenities. There was minimal toilet paper and paper towel and no shower soap in one shower and no laundry soap. We came from overseas and almost immediately had to go down to the shops to buy these items. The home would have got a 9 out of 10 if it wasn't for this issue.

Very spacious house downstairs, with lots of seperate areas used by different age groups. Kitchen excellent, as was lounge and dining area. Garden a little small, but secure for younger guests. Car parking adequate, area quiet, quite close to town and beach, very downhill in morning, although rather uphill in evening.

Not much. The layout of upstairs didn't quite work for our family group, but probably OK for most. Some of the doors a little difficult to shut and lock.
