Property Notes

Please inform Holiday Home Virginia Barn in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Please note that the property cannot accept same day bookings during the weekends. Bookings for the weekends have to be made 48 hours in advance. Please note that the London booking office is open from 08:30 until 16:30 from Monday to Friday. There is not an on-site office at the property and all arrival details are sent after the balance is taken 7 working days prior to arrival. A separate email will follow with the arrival and contact details please check the spam folders. A cleaning fee is charged for the use of the BBQ, this will be refunded if the BBQ is cleaned prior to departure and to the same condition as found. The property requires payment before arrival.

"Lovely building, but needs kitchen and bathrooms updating."

Kitchen and bathrooms were rather tired, we stayed in 2016 and they are the same now. They need updating.

"Quiet, secluded location which I imagine would be great for a family gathering."

Location was convenient and the very large lounge area was impressive. Very quiet and felt secure. Notes regarding our stay were helpful and leaving some milk and water was appreciated.

Whole barn was very warm and but when we opened the doors a large number of insects came in which is to be expected in the countryside but the insect zapper wasn't catching the larger ones. Not huge issue but handy for anyone else staying there to know. We felt the parking for such a large property, especially one that can sleep the number it can is cramped not helped by one spot being compromised by a mound of driveway stones (but wouldn't let any of the above put anyone off).

"A great week in a spacious barn in the middle of beautiful countryside."

Lots of room for everyone to have their own space. Shared area was large but felt cosy.

I would have liked the garden to be completely enclosed so that I could have let my dog out in the garden.

The size and beauty of the property, the facilities within it and the beautiful gardens and surrounding grounds. It had a warmth and friendliness as soon as we stepped over the threshold.

There was nothing to dislike.
