The Old Post House

We loved the place! It was cozy and very clean. It is located in a beautiful part of Scotland. Caroline makes you feel very welcome.

Nothing

Wonderful accommodations! Our host, Caroline, thought of everything a traveller might need and more. Luxurious treats upon our arrival as well. Caroline was always ready to answer questions and provide tips for our adventures.

There was nothing. We liked everything!

The old post house was cute. Looked like something off a postcard. The location was perfect, close enough to towns to be able to go out for dinner etc but far enough out it was quiet and relaxing. Caroline was the perfect host, she was extremely inviting and friendly without being intrusive; went above and beyond with the little extras to make the stay enjoyable. For example she had provided handmade scones and jam, tea coffee biscuits and milk; snacks and drinks.

Nothing

The house included everything needed for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated the welcome package. We were close to the Great Glen Way and Neptune’s Staircase. Nice quiet place.

Everything we needed for a short break and more. We were given all sorts of treats on arrival. Short walk to Neptune staircase and a pub. Good size bedroom and bathroom plus a washing machine.

Great little self catering cottage not far from Fort William. Exellent central location for exploring either glencoe and glen nevis or the lochs of the Highlands. Hosts went the extra mile to be welcoming and accommodating.

The Old Post House has been tastefully renovated from its former life. It is finished to a very high standard, very thoughtfully decorated and equipped. Our host Caroline was incredible responsive to messages and very helpful on any questions I had. We also arrived to a lovely selection of treats included breakfast items, prosecco, beer, slippers and toiletries. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with utensils, cereal, coffee, tea etc. The outside decking area has amazing views to take in over an early morning coffee, and the bonus was seeing the Jacobite Steam Train passing by a few times. Excellent location to explore Ben Nevis and the Nevis range, as well as a stone's throw from Loch Ness. The Neptune's Staircase is worth a look as well as the Lochy pub for a Sunday roast. I would highly recommend the property and would definitely stay again if I was coming to the Highlands.

There is nothing we didn't like about the property or experience, and no suggestions that I could make to improve it.
