Great space. Peaceful yard. Well stocked home with thoughtful touchs throughout. Wish we could have spent more time on the river beach!

The Birdwatch Cottage is a beautiful house! Mars was very helpful in helping us book our stay here. We loved the cozy feel and enjoyed the outdoor spaces as well. It is tastefully decorated and made with so much thought and consideration even for the wildlife around. Our family had a great time here. We spotted birds like the California Scrub Jay and quails. Mars made sure that the property was super-clean and ready for us with all necessary supplies, even ensuring the AC was turned on before our arrival, which we appreciated on a 90 degree hot day. All necessary information regarding places to eat, safety instructions and other info was very professionally provided in print by Mars , so we were prepared on the go especially when our phones couldn't connect to the cellphone network outside. My husband had to work a little during our stay for which he needed a hardwired internet connection. Mars had an area for him to connect to the internet, so he could finish his work. Personalized touches like candies left on the pillows, cookies on the counter and a personal welcome message on the easel made us feel so special! The kids were excited spotting different birds throughout our stay in Three Rivers and Sequoia and coming back to the house and looking up their names in the Bird book that was kept handy in this home! They do offer private beach access near their other Hotel Rio Sierra. However, due to our schedule, we were not able to avail this feature. Nevertheless, we were able to have a good time at the Slick rock recreation area one evening which is only a few minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it 100 per cent!

Nothing big, really, would have been nice to have had 1 more bathroom. But otherwise, we loved it! Wish we could have booked another night of stay here.
