Stylish Uphill Townhouse

Good location. Easy walk to cathedral and castle with restaurants and cafes close by. Cathedral roof tour informative and interesting but not for those with bad knees and vertigo! Good facilities in the kitchen. Liked fruit loaf and milk. Nice touch. Plenty of hot water for a bath and also big shower (though I didn't use it). Rug for sofa (in basket) useful. Lovely artwork.

On street parking was a challenge arriving at the weekend. Smoke alarm near the kitchen would be good as toaster didn't eject and fruit loaf went up in smoke. Found stairs steep, with small steps and only one banister. Instructions for coffee machine and TV would be useful as we don't all have a million channels!

Excellent location. Very comfortable, all necessary equipment in house.

The house was in a fabulous location. Inside it had everything you would need for a lovely stay. The beds were comfy, living area was spacious and the kitchen had all you needed. The milk and cake left by the owners was very welcome. It had interesting decorative pieces throughout the property including artwork done by the owner and had a very stylish yet homely feel to it. It was very quiet throughout our stay and although we couldn’t park outside the house there was room further down the street.

Everything, they supplied fresh milk and a raisin loaf which was a nice touch, the tap in the bathroom and shower was brilliant, the location was good too

There’s nothing to dislike

House was well equipped, close to town, nice touches such as milk in fridge and fruit bread waiting for us. Lovely and clean.
