loved being "in the bush" and the animals visiting etc

The loadshedding for that week was horrendous BUT that's how life is in SA now! The app for times etc wasn't accurate so difficult to plan meals etc. Perhaps look at putting in a gas oven?

Very well equipped kitchen, and comfortable and spacious living and sleeping areas. Aircon or fans in every room. Good location in the heart of Marloth Park. Nice little pool and watering hole. Free Wi-Fi a bonus.Host always responded to any issues or answered any queries super quickly. Even breakage deposit was refunded really fast.

"Eagles Crest - the Best!"

A stunning little cottage with a wonderful atmosphere and perfectly suited to our needs. Loved the old-fashioned paraffin lanterns, which came in very handy during loadshedding. Comfortable, clean; well-equipped (sharp knife, can opener, and corkscrew were all available) and has a fantastic braai area of which we made full use! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking another stay!

"Lovely, compact house, ideal for resting and game spotting and a great braai."

Pleasantly compact so a short distance from kitchen to patio. Patio had nice pool, built in rain-proof braai with an inbuilt light and the garden was nicely arranged for animal spotting. Plenty of animal visitors, passers-by and regulars, with the star being a giant kudu who slept outside the kitchen window.

Unfortunately we had some downpours and the patio flooded.
