Locatie is in een eenrichtingsverkeer straat vlak bij het centrum. De weg er naar toe is via google maps niet altijd gemakkelijk. Zeer vriendelijke hostst, het huis is groot genoeg voor vier personen. Ben zelf bijna twee meter, bovenste verdieping is wat moeilijker aangezien het dak niet al te hoog is en schuin loopt.

Niets wat mij betreft, ideaal voor mijn verblijf.

"Schönes saniertes Ferien-Fachwerkhaus"

Sehr schön saniertes Fachwerkhaus. Die Einrichtung ist neu und hochwertig und alles sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und kommunikativ. Gerne wieder.

"Sparkling clean, central modern house. A great base for walking or touring in Thuringia."

This is an excellent self catered rental of a modern house in a peaceful location 4 minutes from the historic centre of Schmalkalden. A big (open late) supermarket is about 10 mins’ walk away. The house is newly-furnished with everything very functional, sufficiently comfortable and exceptionally clean. 2 good sized bedrooms on separate floors. All the equipment you need in the well-fitted kitchen. Fully fitted bathroom with a large walk-in shower is off the kitchen and a large utility room with WC and basin is on the ground floor. There is a small private garden with furniture and you can park on the space on the pavement outside. Photos show accurate details. The host is contacted by phone call for the key and lives just opposite.

It would be even better to have a box for key collection to allow for late arrivals (not a problem for us) and families or long stays might appreciate some laundry facilities.
