Villa Kadith Agios Gordios

Wie kann man bitte so unfassbar gastfreundlich sein, schon bei der Ankunft hat man sich direkt wohlgefühlt und auch jedes Detail in der Unterkunft ist so gut durchdacht! Kurz vor unserer Ankunft wurde die Küche neu gemacht - dementsprechend hatten wir einen Geschirrspüler und alles in sehr gehobener Ausstattung. Die Gartenanlage ein Traum, unserer Meinung nach noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Und die Vermieter? Soetwas herzliches noch nie erlebt. Ein gefüllter Kühlschrank (Bier, Wein,Eier, Käse, Gurken etc) und gleichzeitig noch eine warme Mahlzeit. Gerade mit 2 Kleinkindern nach Flug und allem waren wir sehr dankbar dafür. Zwischendurch in unserem Urlaub hatte die Vermieterin uns auch Fisch und neues frisches Gemüse vorbeigebracht. Da wir leider keinen Fisch mögen mussten wir dankend ablehnen, auch dass hat sie aber total entspannt aufgenommen :-) Generell, als wir gefragt hatten ob es eine Möglichkeit gibt Schlafzimmer 2 etwas dunkler zu machen (für Kleinkind das abends schon früher ins Bett geht) ist der Vermieter extra in den Baumarkt gefahren und hat ein passendes Holzbrett für eines der Fenster anfertigen lassen. Also, wenn man Fragen hat, kann man hier die Vermieter jederzeit ansprechen und sie agieren wirklich sofort, dadurch wird der Urlaub zu einer richtigen Wohlfühloase :-) Aufgrund der Kommentare hatten wir etwas Angst, dass es zu aufdringlich wird, dass ist aber absolut nicht so! Hier wird trotz der netten Gastfreundschaft Privatsphäre großgeschrieben. Noch eine letzte positive Erinnerung: unser Flug ging erst sehr spät abends, daher hatten wir gefragt ob ein Late Check out möglich ist, da die Villa erst einen Tag später wieder gebucht wurde, war dies ganz unproblematisch und wir durften so lange bleiben wie notwendig (sind dann um 17:15 erst los zum Flughafen). Auch hierfür 10000 Dank!

Wirklich schwierig! Einzige vielleicht, es ist schon in einer Abbiegung der viel befahrenen Straße, aber dort direkt in 1. Reihe, wenn also die Roller/Quads da langfahren kann es schon einmal etwas lauter sein. Absolutes meckern auf hohem Niveau 😁

The villa had amazing outdoor space, with beautiful plants, an outdoor kitchen and eating area, plus an upper terrace with dining table . There was also a lovely pool with decking and sun beds and a jacuzzi and shower . The inside had a very well equipped kitchen two comfortable bedrooms and a modern bathroom with a walk in shower.The hosts were lovely . They had stocked our fridge , and bought us bread ,and fruit. They had also prepared us a meal! We were really close to 2 supermarkets and about 8mins walk to the beach . We really loved this place!

There were only a few things that we would change. The toilet seat was broken from day one ( it was the wrong seat and didn’t fit the base ! )We reported this , and the owners tried several times to fix it , but never quite did it . The jacuzzi had a green build up on the tiles and wasn’t very inviting. Also if anything the owners were over generous ,as they also brought us fresh fish , meat,salad, fruit and pastries during our time there. It was so kind , but it was too much for us to use, plus we didn’t really want to do lots of cooking while on holiday. The welcome we received,and the initial food we were given was perfect , but we didn’t need anymore, but the people were so nice and we didn’t want to offend them.

Firstly - the welcome! Katerina was lovely, we arrived very late after a delayed flight. Nothing was a problem, she even made us dinner which was delicious. It was the perfect place for us, and we’d love to come back. The location for us (wedding party guests) was just great. The views are incredible, we loved the landscape. There’s a supermarket just over the road, 5 min walk to the beach. Great signal wifi but just watch out for the odd power cut (nothing these guys can do about that). Everything was spotless, nice comfy linen and sheets, they even left us a few beers and a bottle of wine to enjoy.

Hardly anything… nothing to complain about… the bed was a little firm for my personal taste, and no dishwasher… but we ate out a lot as there were so many good choices!

The owner is amazing she brings cooked food, fills the fridge pre arrival and also brought fresh fish and salad in the middle of our stay. She is wonderful

The hosts were waiting for us on arrival with a home cooked meal of local dish, which was very delicious and welcome as it was 9pm and we had been travelling all day. The fridge was stocked with essentials, fruit, fresh bread, eggs, local baked goods. Also had olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and spices. The villa was spotlessly clean. The hosts cleaned and changed towels and bedding every 2/3 days. The pool was cleaned every morning. The hosts called in with fresh fish for the bbq. They left us local pastries from the bakery, meat for the bbq and fruit and veg from their garden. The location was excellent, 1minute to Main Street with supermarkets, bars, restaurants, gift shops etc. a 5 minute walk along Main Street took you to the beach.

The only thing we didn’t like was the mosquitoes, not much we can do about that !!!!

Villa Kadith was a fabulous place to stay with the most amazing pool/gardens and outside spaces. Katerina and Spiros were the most kindest and friendliest hosts we have ever met who could not of done more for us,we arrived to a huge pot of beef pastistada cooked by Katerina with homegrown salad,watermelons,wine,juice,honey etc. We had the most relaxing week and would love to go back to Villa Kadith again.

There was nothing we did not like although a mirror in each of the bedrooms maybe nice.

The outdoor facilities at this villa are exceptional and we couldn't have asked for more. The host was lovely and provided bread, wine and things in the fridge. She even cooked us some traditional Easter lamb and potatoes. Above and beyond! Positioned really well for the walk into the village and the garden area was stunning!

The single beds were very, very firm and I found them very uncomfortable with little sleep. Of course with the early season when we stayed the pools were freezing cold.

Our stay at Villa Kadith was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we was enveloped in warmth and hospitality that touched my heart. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was absolutely perfect. We arrived at night and their traditional dish "pastistada" was there for us as complimentary to welcome us. Needless to say that was really tasty!!! The accommodations were exquisite, with attention paid to every detail to ensure comfort and luxury. The stunning views from the villa added to the overall experience, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation. Furthermore, what truly set Villa Kadith apart was the genuine kindness and generosity of the hosts. Their hospitality was not just impeccable; it was touching. They treated us like family, going out of their way to ensure that we felt welcome and cared for throughout my entire stay. We are truly grateful for the memories created at Villa Kadith, and we will always remember the hosts for their unparalleled warmth and hospitality. Everything was awesome. Clean, lots of amenities. The host gave us some amazing Greek food on the first night. Cleaning was prompt at reguar intervals. It was like a little oasis home. Great location too. Would highly recommend this location for a holiday travel
