Sarnes Seaside Cabins

Cabin is spacy, clean, with all you need. Location is amazing.

No proper curtains in time where sun does not set. Seriously, how much would it cost to put a proper sun blind? Matress were worn out.. Also communication was not good. All I received was a sentence including code with no other details.. (though was not needed)

Location is lovely, cabin is spotlessly clean.

Needs a few kitchen items - spatula, paper towels, small bowls. Soap dispenser in shower was empty.

What a spectacular setting! Check-in was simple with easy-to-follow instructions - all communication was like this, and timely. The cabin was well set out, and we appreciated having enough seats to watch TV. The kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater, although a bit tricky to reach the microwave on top of the refrigerator (we moved it on to the bench for ease of use). Parking just outside so no stress - reindeer constantly on the surrounding mountains provided us with plenty of entertainment. There is a restaurant in the teepees on site, but we didn't book in time (we did notice busloads stopping for dinner). An easy drive to shops and supermarkets in Honningsvag, and only 40 min to NordKapp. Happily recommend.

Not really anything in particular for Sarnes but a general observation. We find in alot of Norway and Finland that air conditioning, or in fact air circulation, such as fans, don't exist, and we've yet to see doors or windows with fly screens. We totally understand that AC would be rarely used, but for the warmer weather and midnight sun, coupled with mosquitos the size of moose, we find the rooms quite stuffy. Even one window per room with a flyscreen would help.

Very nice accomodation, beautiful view, the staff was helpful and accommodating, they serve tasty king crab and other traditional dishes at the restaurant. We spent a week there and felt at home, I really wish we will come back one day.

The location is fantastic! The German guy working there is really helpful and polite. We cannot say the same about the manager.

Wifi out of order, communication with the manager was surprisingly difficult and not optimal, would even say at limit of education. We enjoyed the presence of totally drunk norvegian guests in the other 2 cabins... Quite heavy!

My stay at Sarnes Seaside Cabins was disappointing. The clogged toilet wasn’t fixed despite complaining, doors and stairs constantly creaked, and there were no options to darken the windows in summer, causing issues with the never-ending daylight. On the positive side, the fantastic view and the restaurant with great cuisine were highlights, but unfortunately, it was closed on Monday and Tuesday. I can only recommend this accommodation with reservations.

Great cabin! Along the main road to the Nordkapp. Comfortable, equipped kitchen, by the sea with a beautiful view. Very satisfied. Recommend it!

The location on the water is spectacular. It is a short drive to Honningsvag and only about 40 minutes to Nordkapp.
