House with all the amenities for a large group or family. A friendly host who allowed us to store our luggage on premises after checkout time.

We did not receive the key code. Free WiFi but we had issues with working out the password

It was good for our 5 night stay to be in a homely environment. Beds all very comfortable and nice touch having tea, coffee and sugar provided. Kitchen quite new and everything we needed provided. The house had obviously been modernized and the kitchen, bathroom and laundry areas had new appliances and new floor coverings sadly upkeep was not a strong point

Unfortunately the photos must have been taken some years ago as the property showed lot's of signs of neglect. One whole wall outside was covered in ivy, so no natural light or able to open windows. The shower dripped continuously. Although very modern the cooktop was hard to regulate and the writing on the oven controls were so small, even with glasses on we couldn't read them. Perhaps a basic guide printed off would have made it easier. Unable to work the blinds in the kitchen so it was quite dark. The grounds were quite unkempt, unlike the photos on the website.

Apart from one bed the mattresses were old and not very comfortable. The stairs were very steep it would have been good if that was mentioned on the booking site

Loved the fact that there was quite a lot of 'kitchen' type herbs, oats etc provided. Very handy.We used the washing machine, good. Left two of our large suitcases down stairs, to save taking them up. There was space around about to be able to do that.

Only one main bathroom, maybe an extra shower could be installed downstairs in the future??
