Great location, whole apartment, secure parking next to the house. We stayed 5 nights as a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children). The place was comfortable and manageable for that. Easy walk to the foreshore, marina and local playground. The kitchen was great and well stocked to cook for a family. The lounge is not overly big, but this was only noticeable due to us staying with so many people in March (inside of an evening). If it was in the summer time, we'd be outside for most of the evening. Great sitting area out on the front porch and fire pit out the back. Also a grill/bbq was there. Good little swing set and slide for the kids. Heating was superb if you stay in a time of year that needs it. The Kishalász Pékbisztró is close by for food and was absolutely amazing. We went just before lunch and ordered both breakfast items and normal menu. They didn't have a set kids menu but there were items on there for kids. The hosts and communications regarding the property and the guest registration system required by the government there were excellent.

Nothing bothered me about the stay. We were comfortable as a large family for the whole time. If I had any suggestions I would replace the 2 single beds or the small double bed with some solid bunk beds.

Bardzo ładne wnętrza domku, lokalizacja świetna, plaże 5 min na nogach. Spokojna okolica. W domku wszelkie potrzebne rzeczy, plac zabaw, grill. W domku dwie toalety, 3 sypialnie, bardzo wygodne łóżka. Polecam, mam nadzieję że uda nam sie wrócić.

Took a trip with a total of 8 people, and it was such an amazing time. We spent 2 nights eating dinner on the outdoor terrace, and playing games in the backyard. There was a bit of firewood when we got there so we were able to make a fire. 8 people fit very comfortably in the house, and it came extremely clean upon arrival. There was almost no one walking the street where the house was, it felt like we were the only ones around, and we felt very safe to walk around there, night and day. The location is also fantastic, 5-7 minutes walk to the beach, pizza places and other little stores around, even a small bar. The train station was about 7 minutes away too, so thats a huge bonus for people who are taking the train and not driving to Balatonszemes. I also want to add that the Airbnb host is amazing, he was very responsive, very helpful, and very kind during the whole trip. Any question I had, he would have answered it within 15 minutes time, and he was very patient because I had lots of questions. He is a very easy going guy, and he will do all he can to make sure you and your friends/family feel accomodated while staying at the house. Highly reccomend anybody to come stay here, you will have a trip you will always remember. Thank you again for hosting us!

Possibility to park the car in the yard safely and free of extra charge. We didn't like the fact of not having an internet connection. I feel I must be completely honest about our personal experience during our stay. We sincerely hope this feedback will be accepted in the right way, and that the host will take the necessary steps to improve their service to a higher standard, ensuring the price is justified by the offer.

Although the host was more than excellent in communication, especially when it came to guiding us through the installation of the app on our mobile devices for self-check-in, the accommodation itself did not match the description. Specifically, we cannot say it was really clean; the floor was dirty, and our black bags became grey from the dirt. In the kitchen, the coffee maker had rust on it, and we didn’t feel comfortable making coffee with it. Since we were traveling with two 7-year-old children, it was uncomfortably cold in the morning because the heating was set to turn off. Also, we couldn’t take a shower because the water was ice cold. There was a musty, damp smell in the property, and a bug crawled out from the sink. In the morning, the sound we heard was that of a train passing right next to the yard behind the house. The playground didn’t have swings, just a dirty slide, and the yard was full of mud and poorly maintained—it was dark and unkempt. Since we arrived late, we couldn’t see much, but overall, the place felt uninviting. The bed linens appeared worn and old, and considering the price asked, we believe they should be newer. The blanket they provided didn’t smell nice, so we ended up using our own, which we brought for the children. Also, since we arrived late and it wasn’t the summer season, everything was dark, foggy, and gloomy, and nothing could be seen clearly. Because of all this, we decided to leave the accommodation and that part of Lake Balaton, as from our perspective, it felt eerie given all the listed issues. Maybe it’s better in the summer, but the accommodation itself really needs some investment to improve. We do want to support the host and hope they continue offering this type of service. We genuinely hope they will see what we’ve written as constructive criticism, because as travelers, we make our decisions based on reviews from those who have stayed, and accuracy in the information provided is very important to us.
