The Brooklands Bungalow - charming garden cottage

I had to ring for the Lock Box code, however Bach Break were very pleasant to deal with.

There is a little road noise but nothing more than if you were staying in town motel/hotel on a busy main road.

Clean and comfortable

Washing machine has a broken latch we couldn't open it. Helped by staff member but needs repairing. Deck and windows need maintanence. Other wise house is well equipped and ideal handy to shops.

Awesome location, perfect for my family. Beds were so comfortable! Made getting up every morning hard

Mix up with key lock box, however sorted fairly quickly. Ants in the kitchen, however easily fixed, more permanent solution maybe needed however.

Great location. Easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. Gorgeous back garden with huge deck. Kitchen well set up and bathroom lovely Beds very comfortable.

Could do with a heater in the sitting room - heat pumps in the hall and master bedroom worked well and lots of sun in the kitchen but those didn’t warm the sitting room.

Great accomodation, lovely warm house with plenty of seats and kitchen fully stocked with plates, cutlery etc. couldn’t fault it. Also beautiful weather in New Plymouth where we went to Americana and back to house which had a large deck.

Could do with a lock on bathroom door.

Great location on busy road. Overall good thanks. Some feedback left on table as per below. Might be helpful for better experience for others.

Carpet had hair on it, not properly vacuumed? Most dinner plates were chipped. Furniture stained. Single bed no under blanket just a sheet! One kitchen chair wobbly. Not many paper towels or napkins. No flannels. Need clearer instructions re rubbish.
