Well equipped kitchen but knives not sharp and no tray in grill

The quirkiness!!! The cosiness. The bed was super comfy. All of the little extra details dotted around the house. Well equipped - everything had been thought of and then some. Dog friendly! Indoor and outdoor fire. Listening to the birds whilst sat outside with a brew in the spring sunshine!

There was nothing we didn't like!

Fabulous location in the NE Dales close to Leyburn with it’s independent shops - Campbells and Milners in particular. Comfortable beds and lounge with a well equipped kitchen

Visitors need to be aware that the spiral staircase to the bedroom means there is a two floor descent to the bathroom at night!

Loved Puzzle cottage, it was perfect for us two and our sighthounds. Secure garden for them, and everything we needed was provided. We had a comfortable and peaceful stay. Local walks are stunning. We did the Jervaulx Abbey circular from the Cover Bridge Inn on a glorious Spring Day. Amenities all close by, a short drive to Leyburn for supplies and would recommend the Wensleydale Brewery Tap and pizza from Inspired Pizza, for local weekend eating and drinking. Sat and watched the stars from the little courtyard garden in the evening. Perfect.
