"Would definitely stay again"

8.0

The house is beautiful. Loved the fact it had a fire for extra warmth. The facilities were great. Loved the garden and the fact we could bring the dog. He was very comfortable too. Perfect thank you

The only thing we needed was a washing machine of sorts.

The location was ideal...the cottage was beautiful everything was lovely and clean and beautifully presented...the welcome basket was an extra thought (thank you was much needed after a day exploring.)

Got a bit chilly in the evening even with heaters on maybe a blanket on the sofa to snuggle under whilst watching tv...on the second night we lit a fire though so its not an issue just a suggestion

"Perfect little cottage"

10.0

A lovely quaint cottage ideal for a couple. Perfectly clean and very well looked after

If you needed toilet in the middle of the night it was two flights of stairs. Could do with an 'Edgar allen' under the bed 🤣. But this isn't a complaint its what you should expect from a building this old. It's an absolutely lovely place

"Absolutely in love with puzzle cottage"

10.0

Loved the cottage, area was lovely, plenty of footpaths and walks straight from the door, loved beggers mouth we managed to get 3 full bags of sloe berry's to make some sloe gin. Fab for dogs too and loved the little hamper when we arrived. Layburn is lovely and lots of little villages to visit near by

My only negative is the highly polished stairs that were like an ice rink, I'd recommend some type of indoor footwear so you don't slide on them
