Blankets, duvets and hot water bottles are provided and each house has a fireplace. We really loved Morendat House. We went for a long walk when we arrived to explore the town and again the next morning. The location is amazing and we had everything we needed. The house was absolutely spotless and everything was well appointed. It is not listed as “pet friendly”, but we were really grateful that an exception was made for our little Toy Pom so that she could join us on our holiday.

"Authentic and unique"

The authenticity. The uniqueness. Comfortable and clean bed, linen, kitchen. Oh, the interesting books. eg Photograghy.

I could not open the bedroom window. Scared I could not close it again. My bathroom had no air ventilation.

The location and the place was very neat. It's a great place for friends or family to stay over. It's near town as well and shops.

It would be great if there was a bath tub. It's not really kid friendly.

"Homely, more than money’s worth, a Gem!"

The whole house is yours! Most beautiful “ old graaff Reinet sharm, nice garden at the back of house, with braai” facilities an absolute gem, well kept secret in Graaff Reinet”. You feel the homeliness as soon as you open front door. Convenience of picking up your key in a safebox” at frontdoor. Very nice fireplace in house and bookshelves full of books next to fireplace, you can spend days around this cosy fireplace. Very nice every room own showers and privacy, very very neat and everything in it’s place. Beautifull kitchen with! Dishwasher and everything you want in neat kitchen. This house give you more than hoped for” Well done best guesthouse in toen!
