Old heritage house beautifully restored and set up with everything one needs, including some back up lights and a two ring gas cooker for load shedding. The private patio and enclosed yard was very helpful for us having two dogs. The pool would be wonderful in hot weather. Overall a well thought out holiday home in which one could easily spend longer than one night. Within walking distance of eateries and interesting shops

The house is generally very well-cleaned by a pleasant cleaning lady. To make it perfect we thougt a few things need attention: main bedroom's bathroom could do with a concentrated deep clean (grouting, shower floor, toilet stained due to old age) and some focused maintenance. Basin plug was not staying in, toilet cistern dripping and shower door not easy to close. We appreciated finding a pet friendly house but the lounge seemed to have been used a lot by someone's pet and carpet needed a bit of attention. Freezer needs a defrost so guests can put their meat etc in it.

The house was very pretty and big rooms

The house is not as clean as we would have liked it. Skirting boards are grubby, we had to pick up the previous guests dog mess. The two single chairs in the lounge are also rather dirty. There was no hairdryer

Spacious, lovely setting and the character of the cottage. A pity I had only booked for a night, I will certainly come back.
