South Lodge, Glenfintaig

Location was excellent. Glenfintaig was beautiful. Access to the Loch and Highland cattle on site. The host popped up to welcome us. Very polite. Let us roam the grounds freely. What a wonderful setting to enjoy a 40th birthday.

It would have been handy to have the kitchen a little better stocked in terms of cutlery and plate etc. A small thing that really wouldn't be an issue for a couple but as a family, it is easy to quickly use up plates, pans, knives and forks.

Everything was perfect. Great location, very quiet, nice and clean.

Fantastic location at the heart of the highlands, near Ben Nevis and Loch Ness. Property was spacious and comfortable, would happily come back!

Good starting point for daily trips by car. Stunning sunsets and opportunity to walk around at the estate. Cozy atmosphere in the house and lovely decoration! Wonderful hosts and prompt help and answering.

The curtains in the sleeping room are not sufficient for darkening. Close road might be a bit noisy from time to time. Pots and pans could be one size bigger for self-catering.

We loved everything. The estate is stunning and great for exploring. We felt very comfortable in the lodge, it was a great base for our week in the beautiful highlands. Shona was a brilliant host. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

There was nothing we didn’t like! It could do with a few more kitchen bits to make it easier when cooking indoors.

It was our family’s hiking holliday. The lodge was perfect for relaxing and renewing energy for next destination, peaceful, comfortable. We especially enyojed moments in front of fireplace.

Nothing but if i may comment, a would add some articles in the kitchen: a larger conteiner for pasta, glass ceramic plate cleaner, wooden spoon
