The Red Hen Homestead

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay. The house is beautifully designed that reflects so much of the Filipino culture. Breakfasts served were neatly prepared and thought for. Very spacious and perfect for family gatherings. The pool was very clean and is always maintained by the caretaker. Also, it’s pet friendly. Our family dog had fun swimming and roaming around. They have a senior guard dog named spike, very friendly and is definitely a good boy. Staying here brought peace to our family and bonded us more. It surely is a place for escape from the busy city.

Ants and mosquitoes. Make sure to gear up with insect repellents. And always maintain cleanliness in the kitchen to avoid ants.

The pictures got me really excited for our stay and the place itself didn't fail me. Getting there is quite easy coming from Batangas exit, but as you get nearer to the venue, expect a bit of a bumpy ride and narrow road, but trust the process. It is worth it. Aside from the very cozy venue good for big family or group gatherings, a few more things we appreciate is the karaoke all night since you won't worry about other households that you might bother with loud sounds (though renting the karaoke is an additional expense). The privacy of the BIG pool. Perhaps the factor that every visitor will appreciate is the very accommodating KUYAS. Just say their names and they'll be there.

I guess the cons that I could mention are about the mosquitos and the faulty shower faucet in the second floor. But you will notice that the hosts prepared for it as they will provide electric mosquito killers. Also, I guess we are just fortunate that we didn't have the same experience compared to other guests. So just bring mosquito repellant with you.

We loved everything about the place!

The property was gorgeous. It is pretty hidden though, however, that what made it nice. It was so peaceful. The house is beautiful and so spacious. Also, the 2 caretakers that we interacted with were both nice. The first caretaker that greated us our first day went above and beyond. He picked up food and drinks for us since it was raining. He definitely took good care of us. Amazing experience all in all.

Aesthetics of the house is really nice. A quiet place just to chill and bond with family and friends. Boy, the caretaker is friendly and assited us well. Super big pool. Clean and comfy rooms. Complete kitchen tools and equipment - from griller, brick oven, stove (except for microwave and toaster). If you're looking for a place just to talk, eat, relax, this homestead is perfect. The house is well maintained. Will definitely visit again.

During the time of visit, there are a lot of flies (need to put extra effort to make sure our food is safe from flies). Make sure to bring all you could possibly need coz the market/grocery store is far - 20-30mins drive but a Boy can assist in buying stuff you need, but its a bit far if you will walk.

We love the place! Though there are some areas that needs improvement. Other than that, we will definitely go back.

Mosquitoes There was only 1 TV. Would be better if it is in the common area. There were no curtains in the rooms. You could be seen from outside when dressing up.
