The Georgian Coach House:New Forest with hot tub

Lovely cottage in a great setting. View from the hot tub was amazing.

On arrival, Simon was there to greet us and gave us a tour around the coach House and the garden area which was where the hot tub was located. The Coach House it's self is beautifully designed and had every possible utensil within the kitchen. Awaiting us was a delicious loaf of freshly baked bread, jam & butter and a pint of organic milk. The kitchen was also stocked with washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing machine pods and also had a good selection of pots/pans, foil and clingfilm - nothing was needed expect food should you wish to cook on the beautiful Agra stove. The bedroom was spacious, light and airy with a very comfortable bed while the bathroom was spotlessly clean and had lovely fluffy bath towels waiting for us. The drawing room was very comfortable with a sofa and bean bags for lounging on the floor in front of the open fire which was used in the evenings. Plenty of wood was supplied with kindling and a very good sized Smart TV which was great for watching Netflix. The icing on the cake for u was the MASSIVE hot tub which was the perfect temperature and over looked totally stunning views. We used the hot tub both during the day and in the evenings which was just perfect for relaxing and watching the stars above. Myself and husband spent the days exploring the beauty of the New Forest and had a wonderful lunch at the Potting Shed in Fordingbridge which was delicious - thanks for the recommendation Simon, it did not disappoint! All in all, we had the most wonderful stay at the Coach House and will be returning - beautiful accommodation in the most stunning location with fantastic hosts.

Only suggestion (not a negative at all) would be to have a small radio in the kitchen area. I love a bit of background music whilst cooking or sitting in the terrace area with a cuppa

We had a wonderful stay at the Coach House and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a New Forest getaway. The location is just spectacular - in the midst of beautiful countryside, but only minutes (by car) from the pretty town of Fordingbridge. The property itself is very spacious, well equipped and cosy - with an attention to detail that really elevated our stay. We had access to the sizeable garden and sole use of the huge hot tub, strategically placed at just the right spot for watching the sunset. Simon and Emma were great hosts - there to greet us and answer any questions, but otherwise offered us full privacy. We particularly appreciated the freshly baked bread (and milk, butter and jam) awaiting us when we arrived, and the good advice on places to eat and things to do while there. We could not have asked for a better experience or a more hospitable introduction to the New Forest.

Location was pretty good, accommodation was very nice. Was clean and warm with some nice touches

Lounge could be more comfortable, sofa was small and firm and lost in a huge room, not east to relax on. Kitchen needed more crockery, didn't have a bowl for cereal.

Homemade bread nice touch. Fire in lounge nice and warm.

I didn't like the distance from Coach House to hot tub. Hot tub though was good with powerful jets. No wardrobe in bedroom to hang clothes.

Stunning period property, was immaculately clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The hosts are exceptional, gave us a mini tour so show us around with details on how to light the log burner and use the hot tub. As well as recommendations for places to visit, eat and drink. Tea and coffee provided as well as a pint of milk, fresh bread and jam which was delicious. The views from the hot tub were outstanding. Watching the sunset and deer in the field below whilst relaxing in the hot water was tranquil and an experience we are keen to have again. Already can’t wait to plan our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet retreat.

Fab property in great location. Loved hot tub to soak legs after long walks. Loved the aga and wood burning stove for cosy evenings. Lovely welcome loaf and provisions.

From the friendly welcome, the attention to detail, the amazing hot tub, the lovely fire we lit, everything was perfect. We would highly recommend.
