Lovely 1 Bed Apartment With FREE PARKING & Garden

Spotless house , quiet location , very easy for city and for local countryside walks , parking space next to property, easy to speak with host when needed excellent WiFi..can't fault it , will be looking for here again next trip to Cambridge

Bed was orthopaedic so quite firm for our liking but wasn't a problem and wouldn't put me off booking again

Property was spotless and equipment was high quality.

These points are for improvement - not criticism. 1. lacks information handbook - central heating instructions and oven manual. Cutlery was slightly disappointing but crockery was good. One of fry pans was aluminium and therefore wouldn't work on induction hob - took 20 mins to work out it wasn't the hob! Detailed instructions were left for recycling and rubbish but no spare bags supplied to replace them when rubbish was put out

We stayed for a few weeks for reference. Location was amazing and easy parking outside. Flat is furnished lovely and obviously a recent refurb. Quiet in the evenings. Lovely bathroom and great sofabed for guests. TV is setup for netflix and the kitchen is clean and everything you'd need for a long weekend stay. Easy check in and check out and super quick support replies. Washing machine and dish washer - great.

Location was great, but sadly the car park next to the property gets used for drop-offs at the local school, so found ourselves getting woken up regularly (especially if guest is on sofe bed) Flat was equipped okay..... but certain things like ironing board (had no cover), tiny freezer (hidden in the cupboard) and relatively badly equipped kitchen. Kitchen - old and rubbish utensils/cooking knives etc. Awful induction hob and half the pans/pots don't work with induction (d'oh). Cooking on the regular for weeks was a bit tricky. Heating stopped working during the last few days and customer support were straight away sorting an appointment. The silly touch screen theromostat has died so needed charging and the handyman said the support team will support the rest - they didn't, and I'm very disappointed they expected my non-tech mother too do the rest. Sadly syncing the boiler with the wifi thermostat via a link on the phone isn't easy (hency why the handyman didn't even know how do it). So no heating for the remaining 48 hours which is very disappointing - I've dipped the rating for this reason. Customer service despite being speedy needs to be efficient and complete the task, not expecting the tenant to do the rest - sorry. Bed was also slightly uncomfortable, looked like the slats were broken (Did nobody check?)

Great location, short walk to bus stops for Cambridge centre. 25 min walk to train station. Good size carpark.

Heating is on a timer, one hour in the morning, 6 am to 7am. An hour in the afternoon around 4 pm. We messaged Guy in the evening that we were freezing and the heating was remotely put on. Thermostat was in a lock box so couldn't be adjusted. Everything else in the unit was great.

The flat was bright and airy, comfortable and cosy. With a parking space, which is a treat in Cambridge. Lovely walks nearby.

Property was light, well decorated, practical and clean. The location was good with parking for one car and free on road parking available nearby.

The wrong address was given to us which caused us a long delay getting into the property, along with the anxiety thinking we had been scammed. We phoned the owners number, Guy, but was answered by a lady that was difficult to understand and didn’t seem to know about the property eg; door colour, brick or painted walls, and just kept asking if we had the correct address. We luckily found the property from the description photos. The garden is extremely small.
