Self Contained Garden Studio with stunning views

The hosts were very welcoming and the location was ideal for the places we were visiting.

The toilet/shower room was extremely small and it was not ideal having to use the kitchen sink to clean our teeth and for my husband to have a wet shave. Basically, we thought that experience was somewhat unhygienic. Although we found the studio clean we did find long hairs in the shower and on the kitchen area floor.

Bed too short for comfort. Toilet facilities far too small. Almost impossible to sit on the toilet.

Nothing at all!!

Our stay in the studio was absolutely wonderful - it was the most idyllic countryside getaway only a stone's throw from London! The studio is in the most beautiful and private location at the very end of the garden and has a gorgeous view over the fields - it's so lovely to sit outside with your morning coffee and listen to the birds, or sit out at night to look up at the stars and listen to the gentle trickling of the water feature. Jules and Ian were the perfect hosts - their communication before and during our stay was fantastic, they were so friendly and generous, and they did everything they possibly could to make sure that our stay was absolutely perfect. We were actually blown away by their kindness.. for example, we'd walked to the nearby Sissinghurst Castle Garden and it started to rain quite heavily so Jules rang me to see if we needed rescuing; 5 minutes later, Ian had driven over to collect us..! :D We really liked that Jules and Ian had clearly thought of everything that guests could need during their stay, from providing delicious milk from a local dairy farm, to having hot water bottles in the bedside drawer, plenty of board games to play on a rainy day and recycling bins just behind the studio. We also loved the coffee machine and the fact they have Yorkshire tea (the best tea in my opinion :P)! There's all kinds of kitchen equipment for you to use (including an air fryer, full fridge freezer, electric hob, toaster, kettle, wine glasses, bottle opener etc which is all really handy if you fancy making your own meals or having a quiet night in). There are lovely toiletries provided in the bathroom, the shower was warm, and the bed was ridiculously soft and comfy (we had a great night's sleep in the peace and quiet of the countryside). I'm running out of space now, but I literally couldn't recommend staying here any more and we would LOVE to come back again one day. Thank you so much for the best weekend! :)

Checking in and out was so simple, easy parking. The studio had all the facilities I needed and it was cosy and private. My partner was admitted to Benenden hospital for surgery and was staying in for a couple of nights, so for me this accommodation was perfect, just 10 minutes away from the hospital. The hosts were lovely and helpful and available if you needed anything. I would definitely rebook.

My nan stayed here over Christmas, the hosts were lovely and facilities were brilliant. She had a great stay and I will highly recommend to our friends and family as it’s the perfect location close to our house.

A plus for myself but maybe a slight issue for a non tech savvy person was the television setup, brilliant as was set up to all streaming services but a little hard to navigate for my nan.
