Mountain Gem

The house was very spacious, clean, warm, and inviting. I loved the shower and bathtub combination in the downstairs bathroom.

The house is very cozy, it has plenty of space and a cute little movie area in the basement

Kids, myself and my friend agreed we Love the house. Smelled amazing when we walked in. Decor was welcoming and cozy. Love the accommodations and that I was able to reach someone almost immediately. Enjoyed my stay so much rebooked before the end.

Not much privacy in the kitchen at night. You have to wait 30 min to an HR for the hot water if more than one person has to shower. There is not much coverage on the balcony if it rains.

The common areas are big and spacious, the house is well kept, very clean, and looks to be recently painted and updated from the pictures. It was perfectly located in between JMU and the Shenandoah Valley for beautiful hiking. The back is also nicely wooded and the perfect setting for your morning coffee.

A hot tub or fire pit would be nice, but not required and definitely isn’t a detriment to our stay.

Everything was good and more than we expected and Troy kept in contact to make sure everything was ok so it was a good stay

The only thing I can think of is the ice maker didn't work

The house was great! The location was perfect so close to the gate but nice views. Our host, Troy was always 2 steps ahead of any questions and gave clear instructions. We would not change a thing about our stay.
