Melkbos Beach Cottage

Self catering Beach Cottage so close to the beach. Sea view and the sound of the waves was awesome. Close to the small shopping centre. We found a guy making pancakes in his food trailer and they were oh so yummy :)

Couldn't get used to the wooden floors creaking. Was rather creepy especially at night time but the cottage in general was very well kept but the wooden floor boards were pretty noisy even if you were tiptoing on the wooden floor....

The location and the place is beautiful. It's so close to the beach.

Lovely and quite with loads of space separate from the main house.

Some of the cooking utensils had been packed away dirty (not washed after being used) so we had to clean them before we used them

Spacious and nice views on sea and Table mountain. Situated in peaceful,safe and clean area.

No dstv, was not informed to bring own decoder and card. Access gate without gate motor. Our vehicle had no cover. Garage was not available and no carport.

Very clean, the place has everything you could possibly need. Bonus was not having to worry about interruption of loadshedding I had a lovely time

The house is well equipped. Good location. Cosy with nice fireplace.

Not really pet friendly. Owners expect dogs to be attended at all times, which does not allow free roaming for dogs or owners. Dogs not allowed in bedrooms Curtains reaches floors and old, loose carpets cover floors, which is difficult to clean. Mattress in main bedroom needs replacement.

The best location with the most friendly hosts. An awesome experience! So close to the beach and with all amenities needed. The space is great and you will not need anything else.

Close to the beach. Quiet location

We were expected to strip sheets etc even though we had paid for the cleaning. Pay upfront, no refund possible
