Beachside - North Berwick

It’s in the center of town, but quiet, and very near the beach. It is immaculately clean, and beautifully appointed. I loved it and can’t wait to come back. If it had a view of the ocean I would never leave! Thanks to Craig for everything

Location was great, the apartment was clean and had everything you would need for a short stay

The sofa bed wasn't comfortable, it has seen better days, but as I was only there for 2 days so it was bearable.

The property was in a great location, quiet and cozy. Very close to the beach and high street but still nice and quiet. Nice bedroom and bathroom.

Unfortunately on the 2nd day of my trip there were quite a lot of bugs in the living room which made it a less comfortable stay. I think this was mainly due to the rain and the double doors that let out to the garden even though I never opened them.

Hidden in a little courtyard and very peaceful. Well equipped and good shower. Good wifi.

On arrival the fridge wasn't turned on and neither was the boiler for hot water. The mugs in the kitchen were badly tea stained. The lack of a traditional TV service was also an issue. Lots of apps on the screen but unfortunately I didn't have the password for apps to be able to access them. Good wifi though so I was able to access TV via Sky go and BBC. Not ideal for a couple though.

The instructions about what was in the property. There was a long list of how to get rid of rubbish on the email that was sent through and an indication that all other information was in a folder - but in fact the information in the folder was minimal and consisted of manufacturers instructions of installation and maintenance. Instructions also said there was a leaflet in the kitchen re which weeks certain bins should be put out - this was not there. There was one in the folder which related to 2002 / 2023.

The location was lovely. In the centre of town yet quite secluded and very private. An extremely comfortable, peaceful, cosy apartment. We would definitely stay there again.

The information pack might be better being sent the previous day. We were travelling all day so unable to access internet. Then couldn't access the Wifi without a password. Fortunately the host didnt mind me pestering him via text, but sadly my old phone doesnt have media so I was unable to view what I am sure was a picture of the information needed. This didn't spoil our time though, I think having no iternet or tv actually made the stay more peaceful.

The property was so lovely and spacious. It felt really bright and was decorated in a lovely coastal theme. The location was absolutely perfect, it was so close to the beach and just round the corner from all the lovely little shops and restaurants. Would definitely return 😁
