Everything was perfect during our stay. Carlos offered free transportation from the ferry station to the house upon your arrival. The house is fully equipped and is ideally located; we could walk to the beach in just five minutes. It also has good Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

Such a beautiful little place! The photos are exactly how it looks. Perfect for a home stay type of vibe. Comfy master bed and a great aircon! Kitchen is well stocked with everything you’ll ever need. In a great location 5 minutes walk from the nearest swimming beach. 5-10 minutes in the other way to walk to La restaurant area of town! I couldn’t say anything bad about! Highly recommended. All looks the same in the photos.

Great walking to town location.....simple accommodation....a proper island home, simple and basic but character and simple fun and charm....Don't expect too many stars but great place to stay....aircon in main bedroom is good.

Upstairs bedroom has steep stairs and maybe a little warm depending on season.

Slightly quirky house but good facilities inc outdoor area. Collected us from boat and let us leave our bags for a few hours after check-out time. Easy walk into into town & to beach.

Hall and tennis courts across road used as meeting point for teenagers and some loud music at night.

The location was an easy walk to town and to the interpretation center trails. The host was great at communicating and answered all of our questions. There was a dance center and soccer field across the street and it was fun to hear and enjoy the youth culture of the island.

Sara met us from the airport and took us straight to the house pointing out local amenities on the way. She gave us a great tour of the house and told us a lot of useful information about the island. The house is close to Playa Mann & Playa de Oro and a short walk to both Tijeretas and into the main town/port. Air con is only in main bedroom but works well. Bed is comfy. Filtered water provided. There was WiFi which we were not expecting but it was a bit patchy at times.

We booked this property as the reviews said quiet and peaceful. Sadly this was not our experience during our 7 night stay. On the 1st and 2nd nights there was a football tournament opposote with a very loud speaker system and airhorns going off into the night. The neighbours were also carrying out noisy construction work during the day. The neighbourhood was not that quiet at all with lots of barking dogs and music. As for the house itself there were a lot of cockroaches (even one in the oven) and other insects. There were holes in the badly fitted mosquito nets. It is very rustic and could be lovely but it is in need of attention. The electric shower seems particularly dangerous and the garden could be nice but was very neglected. Other notes: • No dining chairs only stools • Balcony no chairs • Bedside cabinet only one side of the bed • Toiletries - soap only no shampoo • Steep ladder to 2nd bedroom (only fan). We contemplated leaving and moving to a different place but had already paid in full.

The area feels very safe and it's about 8 minute walk to the Playa Mann. We like the quiet neighborhood where locals live. The house has a rustic charm and a cute garden at the back (unfortunately we didn't use it due to mosquitos.) The master bedroom has an AC and a fan in kid's room.

The place has many mosquitos, ants other insects. The stove is difficult to use without a functional spark ignitor. And the ladder to the second floor is too steep for the safety of our kids. Since we cannot speak Spanish very well, we had to heavily rely on What'sUp to communicate with the host to arrange taxis, tours & laundry service and it didn't always work, which motivated us to learn the language better. ;)

We were met from the pier and they took a taxi with us to the house and explained all about the house and local area. Good space for two people, really close to the beach and easy walk to town. Minimarket at the end of the street. On a generally quiet street. Nice space outside for drying clothes/swimwear. Balcony upstairs ideal for having breakfast. Aircon in main bedroom, a fan for the rest of the house. Cool, quirky place!

Mosquito screens and doors didn't fit perfectly, so bugs do get in. Just make sure to bring some citronella or plug-in bug repellent.

We were met at the airport by Sara - she was so helpful and showed us around San Cristobal. She gave good advice on where to go and things to do. The location was good, close to Playa Mann
