The Toll House

We needed to be near family in Newton Stewart for a few days and this was perfect, spacious and comfortable. I needed to do some.work during the weekend which I could do at the dining table using the WiFi. The kitchen was good enough to cook a full meal in. The hosts were great communicating. The garden and garden room is a lovely bonus, even in the drizzle!

Very clean and comfortable, lovely to be able to relax in the garden by the river. Central location. Nicely furnished to make a stay as pleasant as possible.

The summerhouse to sit by the river was as comfy and beautiful as the house

Beautiful cottage with high quality fixtures and fittings. In a great spot to explore the area. Everything you would need is provided. Great communication from owner. The summerhouse is a real bonus.

Unfortunately for us the boiler was faulty so the heating was sporadic.The owner did her best to resolve the problem. Sadly a plumber wasn't available over the weekend. It did spoil our weekend slightly as we had to use throws to keep warm.
