Il balcone di Rina

Very spacious apartment with comfortable bed. We enjoyed the little balcony where we could sit and look out towards the town’s old wall. The dishwasher was a bonus. A quick walk to the city walls and the bustle of the town. Excellent gelato to be had!

The balcony overlooks a busy road and a parking lot. Be sure to ask beforehand if you can actually use the airconditioner. I was looking for the remote to be told that there is not electricity to use it. I understand the energy challenges Europe has, but guests should be advised beforehand and not pretend that the facility did not exist when they booked.

The room is easily accessible by car, and it is nice and clean. The host was very nice. The kitchen had everything we need, including a nice variety of tea and a coffee machine. The view from the bedroom was terrific.

The sofa bed is not quite comfort, and the living room / kitchen is quite noisy at night. Therefore it is a perfect fit for a couple, but may need tweaking for more than that.

We had a lovely welcome from our host. Everything was clean and comfortable. The apartment is situated just outside the city walls and is lovely and quiet. Not far to walk into the beautiful San Gimignano either, where you are surrounded by beauty, culture and history. Our host was happy to suggest places to visit too.
