Nicely furnished and appointed

It was cold on entering and after turning thermostat up to normal room temperature. It took for ever. I had to check the boiler to see both hot water and radiator water was turned to minimum. A cheap trick and not funny. One very loose toilet seat. Only one mug in the kitchen so sharing a tea was the only option.

Location was ideal base to meet up with friends

The property was very clean, nicely decorated and looked good, the kitchen was well equipped with crockery etc and washing liquid etc. The check in was easy too.

The rooms were smaller than we expected, having to squeeze past the shelving to get onto one side of the master bed, for example. The garden was accessed by steep steps, and was just gravel without anywhere to sit. The parking was a battle as the property is located on rows of small terraced houses, so it was difficult not to park in someone else's "space". The last thing you want to do is annoy a local when visiting somewhere new! It was a little underwhelming for the price and the location, as not walkable to any shops, cafes or restaurants.

parking was just a little difficult but we always managed on the street but this isn’t a reflection on the property as it was lovely

it was very cold when we got there we were able to turn the heating up but it took a long time to heat the lounge. The bathroom was really cold and only enough hot water for two of us to shower.
