Casa da Rosarinha

This little private house is amazing. Equiped with everything you might need, you feel like at home from the first second you enter. Owners came to give us the keys, introduced us with the house and beautiful area, they offered us amazing welcome - Azorian food and drinks basket for free - pine apple, fruits - bananas, apples, local drink, bread, cheese, milk, honey ... It was so delicious and helpful til we went to buy our own food to the local supermarket. They are very kind and helpful people. For sure we will be back. Area is very beautiful and safe, close to the sea / ocean and beach, aloe vera grows nearby, amazing place, clean little house - we felt like in fairy tale:). Thank you very much. This was one of the best stays I've ever experienced. Very very friendly hosts. Despite a booking mistake on my side, they've arranged everything that it fitted our schedule. The house is extremely clean and you can feel the love for details that the hosts have put into making the stay as comfortable as it gets. You'll find fruits and milk and bread and home-made jam and alcohol on the table. There are separate towels for usage inside and outside of the house. A three-story garden behind the house that is only yours during the stay is an amazing place to spend your time while you are not travelling around the island. There you have a table, a brick grill and fresh vegetables. You park your car just in front of the door, I mean it literally, you can open the door of your car while standing on the threshold. A beautiful 250m long unsupervised sandy beach is just 7 minutes away and we were mostly alone there (end of August), enjoying a warm ocean.

The apartment is very clean and comfortable with all the necessary equipment. The location is perfect - in a small and calm village with a local sandy beach (5-10 min by foot) near the famous city - Vila Franca do Campo (~2,5 km - whale watching tours, islet of Vila Franca do Campo, beach, restaurants, shopping center and et. ) and near to main roads. Therefore it is very easy to go to any point on the island.

The hosts are very friendly, but they take too much care of their apartments. Therefore, when you are not at home, you feel like they are coming to check the apartment every day. After cleaning, they tidied up our things, even unpacks the suitcases and put things in their places.
