everything. exceptional accommodation. added extras of a selection of teas and coffees, plus plenty of condiments and toiletries.plus a lovely hamper upon arrival. particularly enjoyed the summer house to relax and enjoy the views. the location is lovely and plenty to offer locally.

Lovely village location. Very pretty cottage that was immaculate inside with modern furnishings. It was nice to receive the welcome hamper and all correspondence from the owner was excellent. Thank you for a great holiday!

It was all lovely but perhaps a softer duvet cover, a shelf to put your toiletries on inside the shower and chairs rather than bench seats around the dining table.

Absolutely stunning views. The back garden is a real haven and a lovely sun trap. Incredible walks nearby with beautiful scenery. Hosts were easily accessible via WhatsApp and checked everything was ok. The cottage is home from home - gorgeous homely touches. It’s extremely high spec and have never stayed somewhere so spotless. Would be back in a heartbeat. Thank you for such a relaxing stay.

Hilldale Cottage is honestly one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed in. Everything about it is exceptional. The initial communication and information sets the tone and couldn’t be better. The cottage is superbly equipped and has everything you’d need and more. The attention to detail in the property and quality of furnishings & facilities just can’t be faulted. We had a little spring sunshine during our trip and the summer house enabled us to enjoy a late afternoon tipple in comfort, overlooking the rolling fields and watching the lambs frolicking. We really look forward to revisiting Derbyshire and staying at Hilldale again. Thank you Elizabeth & Paul for taking such care in providing a truly wonderful destination.
