"Worth getting out of town for"

A beautiful location with wonderful views. Property accessed by a very steep drive but with a well-lit, up-market entrance. Incredibly friendly owners (although the communication is via their son). Beautifully decorated.

No air-con - wasn't really a problem - high-speed fan on the ceiling was a little noisy though.

"A true Italian experience"

The highlight of our journey. An absolutely amazing experience. We booked this place late in the evening, and it turned out that booking.com didn't mention that they were closed because of a family gathering. Nonetheless the owner's son contacted us and he arranged us to stay in the house. It is an apartment run by a single family, and they welcomed us with the utmost love and openness. Even though we didn't want to bother their evening party, they invited us to join the dinner, with traditional Italian cuisine. We had a wonderful meal, had an amazing chat, and got to be part of a real Italian experience. We even received a serenade when finally we felt like going to bed after a long day. An experience we will never forget! Thank you Federico for you and your wonderful parents!

There was literally nothing we didn't like 😊
