We loved the fact that it was suitable for children, the host was very friendly and the location so remote to have privacy but also close to supermarkets.

We didn't like the summer heat that's why we came there to escape those high temperatures.

Lovely place, well equipped with everything you might possibly need, great terrace and fireplace.

If your car has low clearance you won't be able to get inside when it's raining. It wasn't a big inconvenience for us though, we just left it parked and went a minute by foot.

The house is really great and nice ; it's located next to nice nature where you can go for walking or hiking. The host of this property is very devoted, nice and available for everything that you need. We couldn't except better, I absolutely recommend this place !

A very good location if you come with friends for a weekend. - You have everything you need at the guesthouse. - Durau is 20 minutes away if you want to go to the adventure park - grocery store 10 minutes away on foot. - the host is very kind

After a summer traveling in Romania, this was the cleanest accommodation, equipped with everything needed for cooking and cleaning. This is a good place for a family reunion or traveling with a group to explore such a beautiful and culturally rich area. It is important to consider your car's off road capabilities for the location, as the house is accessible through an off road steep short drive from the main road. Since the house is in the mountains, the yard is very steep, therefore, depending on your parenting style and the age of your children, this needs to be considered, if playing in the yard is necessary. My kids loved the climb.

The house is nice, the property is large enough to have its own varied geography, the rooms are cozy, the mattresses firm, the kitchen and the barbecue have all the utensils you need. There is a lounge that might come in handy in bad weather. The piece de resistance are however the showers, with big shower heads that hold their promise and ensure a thorough relaxing session after returning from extended trips.

Not really a negative, the location is not completely secluded. This is however irrelevant if one uses the house as a starting point for trips on four (actually five) different routes, each with its own rewards. The proximity to the Bicaz Lake is also of value for guest with boating ambitions.
