Casamorena

We like to be in loactions that are quiet and private, so this was perfect for us. We could go to small resturants in the area (by car), and was very well guided by the hostess. We aimed for a private pool, it is not big, but a size where we could be in there all five at the same time, and cool off in the warm Italian summer. Our hostess already contacted us right after we did the booking. She was very helpfull with preparing a list of local resturants and events that was going on when we were there. She had prepared a home made lasagne and breakfast cake, so there was some thing to eat, when we arrived in the evening (really good). In the city close by (Fabro), we could do our shopping for groseries. We also took the train to Rome, just 1½ hour, then we were in the center of Rome. Another good thing was the aircon in the rooms, an absolute must in that temperature. We are not interrested in wine, but there was several wine yards in the area.

There were quite a lot of mosquitos (not to blame the house for that, but could perhaps be a good investment with a good mosquito zapper in the house. Sofa is a bit small if the house is aimed for 6 people, it worked out with five, when sitting very close. One of the beds squeaks when ever you moved in it.

Ottima esperienza. La struttura è molto confortevole e spaziosa. Si accede da una traversa su una strada di paese e ha esposizione su un bellissimo tratto di terra con vista sul verde. Accesso per due auto. Casa su due piani, ben arredata e dotata di tutto il necessario per la cucina. Camino molto funzionale. Brace esterna con legna. Il salone è spazioso e il divano confortevole per 5/6 persone. Un grande tavolo accoglie bene 6/7 persone. Le stanze da letto non grandi ma con comodi armadi e sedie per poggiare borse e abiti. Doppio impianto di riscaldamento (per entrambi i piani), facilmente regolabile. Cucina super attrezzata (forno, microonde, lavastoviglie), caffè e beni di prima necessità trovati disponibili. L’esterno e molto bello e ben tenuto, abbiamo fatto colazione all’esterno pur essendo ad ottobre finito. Di fronte un grande parco bellissimo, con possibilità di passeggiate a piedi nei dintorni. Piscina esterna per la stagione estiva. Zona molto silenziosa e ideale per rilassarsi. Grazia ci ha accolto con cortesia fin dalla prenotazione. Viene spiegata ogni cosa nella struttura. All’arrivo abbiam trovato un ottimo ciambellone! Raccomandato per gruppi in cerca di relax e pace.

Veel ruimte, een grote tuin en een groot huis voor 4 personen.

Er waren overdag en s’nachts veel muggen en vliegen. Je word constant gestoken waardoor je niet comfortabel in de tuin zit. De douche was erg klein en niet comfortabel om in te douchen, ook als je de douche op de warme stand zette werd deze tijdelijk warm maar al snel weer koud. Daardoor sta je telkens het ene moment onder een koude douche en het andere moment onder een warme douche.

Mooie ruime woning met een gigantisch grote tuin. We hebben genoten van het zwembad en de BBQ. En het contact met de eigenaresse verliep erg fijn. Prima lokale slager in het dorpje. Verder is er in de directe omgeving niet veel te vinden. Prima als je op zoek bent naar rust dus.

De tuin is rondom voorzien van een hekwerk. Ideaal om de hond los te laten lopen. Aan 1 zijde is alleen een schrikdraad gespannen, maar dat is niet voldoende dicht gebleken. Wij adviseren om hier ook een hekje te plaatsen. Verder hadden we veel last van muggen in de avond. En de onverwacht extra kosten voor de hond waren wat vervelend bij aankomst.

La piscina fantastica! Le lasagne pronte appena arrivati! La pulizia perfetta! Ogni frattaglie curato! In casa non mancava nulla! Il barbecue meraviglioso!

So comfortable, very spacious, modern and well equipped house, conveniently situated in very quiet surroundings, on a large plot of land all just for you. Our dog felt so comfy to run around and explore. We wouldn’t have survived without the pool, nothing better than to dip in when feeling too hot. And above all, our hosts, so warm and welcoming, always ready to help, they went to extreme lengths to find a mechanic when our car broke down. We really appreciate it!

Not a single thing, it was all great!

We had a wonderful stay at Casamorena. The house is beautiful, spacious, and very clean, plenty of room for our family of five. We were welcomed by Grazia and Danielle with a homemade Lasagna and a breakfast tart and communication with them was excellent throughout our stay. The garden is especially beautiful and we were able to enjoy the fresh cherries, plums, and fresh herbs for our meals. We could not have asked for a better vacation, it was nothing short of perfect.
