Great location - we just needed a place to sleep as we were out all day every day, but it was nice to wake up to the view. Bodegón Vargas in Vera de Erques was a bonus gem for dinner every day

the location, peace and quiet, a very friendly and tactful host. since the nights were a bit cold he took the trouble to provide us with electric heaters. There are sunbeds at the property and you can perfectly stay and enjoy sunbathing in the shade of an orange tree.

We absolutely loved everything about the place. Large and clean flat with the most stunning view from your small private balcony. A real oasis of tranquility with orange trees for freshly squeezed juice in the morning and a very polite and discreet host who occupies a separate part of the building and really makes it feel as if you were staying at your very own finca. There's only two flats for guests so if you're lucky you pretty much have the whole place to yourself but even if the other flat has guests it wouldn't interfere with your privacy.

The access to the flat was very difficult to walk on the way we had to walk on the stones and loose soil.

We stayed 13 nights so we got a detailed opinion. In general it’s a very good choice. Calm location, far from tourist locations. Host was super and easy to communicate with, tried a lot to make this a nice stay. The facilities were really nice, no complaints there. The view was really nice and made the location of the apartment outstanding.

I would not say I “did not like”, but worthy to know: Location is in a mountain, around 1 km up in Vera de Erques. Which is nice, but you need to drive up and down. This meant we left every morning and came back in the evening, taking turns to drive. I think the drive close to the location is a bit dangerous, esp. if a careless driver would go from the other side. The weather is moist up there. My fiance was coughing for most of the stay because somehow it affected her throat (the root cause was AC in the car though). If you have a huge fear of dogs, it might not be the best place for you. They are very friendly though. The wi-fi is literally not existent, it just disappeared sometimes.
