Green Valley House Madeira

Lovely location, well maintained house. The hosts responded to all queries and were super helpful.

This flat occupies the top floor of the house. The bottom floor appears to be storage? There is external covered access to a super large roof terrace which gets the sun in early January until 16.30. There is also a large covered area with a washing line. We could hang our wet walking clothes out each evening and they would dry. Unfortunately we didn’t have great weather! The kitchen is well equipped and the TV has Netflix ( you need your own log in) WiFi worked well.

As mentioned, we had wet damp weather and subsequently the flat felt damp on arrival as there is no heating. We phoned and asked for a radiator and the owners brought one to us quickly. I feel a dehumidifier would be a good idea in winter time.

The flat is comfortable, clean and has everything you need 👌🏻 the view from the terrace is just awesome 🤩 Fernanda and Filipe are taking so good care of you everything was just fine and we would definitely recommend it for a stay on Madeira if you like it a bit more quiet and not directly in the city center 🍀😊

Great place, but you need to have a car to reach it. There are a lot of hiking routes start around that location, so always plenty things to do. The location is more less in the middle of the island, means you can reach any point by car in a half an hour. Amazing, helpful hosts (my special appreciation here!). The house is in a very good condition, freshly refurbished, always available hot water, there were enough kitchen tools and cutleries available, good washing machine.

The cat therapy included

The best place we stayed during our trip to Madeira. Very private, outstanding view and fully equipped kitchen. only 20 min driving distance to Funchal in case you do any activity starting from there. Due to central location you can quickly get to any part of the island. Big shop is 6 min driving distance away. Lovely owners, stayed available for any questions. There is also super friendly cat name Kiki living on a terrace. She is super nice, we fell in love. Will be choosing this place each time when coming back to Madeira and recommending everyone.

The surrounding of the house is charming. There is also a big terrace, with a sunshine during almost all day and possibility to watch the sunset behind the mountains. The cat is really a cutee.

All house is little damp and one of the beds didnt smell very good.

Great stay for those seeking a quiet place immersed in Nature. The house was very easy to find and was very well equipped. Fernanda and Filipe were always prompt to help us. Highly recommended!

Honestly nothing, lovely place to stay. We had such a nice holiday!

Great location with amazing views - (narrow) dead end mountainroad. Great hosts who pay a lot of attention to the guests with a personal welcome. All-inclusive cat Kiki (you can leave her out or take her in, up to you)

Nothing really (Only thing maybe missing is a dishwasher)
