La Selva Beach Ocean Front Townhome - Direct Beach & Ocean Access

This is a 3-level townhouse-style condo that is literally right on a private beach. All 3 levels look out to the ocean. Top level (street level) has 2 bedrooms (one with king bed, one with 2 double beds) and a bathroom with shower. The middle level has kitchen, family room with TV, a smaller bathroom with shower, and a smaller bedroom with a double bed (this bedroom does not have a window). Kitchen has dishes, full fridge, blender, coffee maker, etc. This level also has a deck looking out to ocean. I think there was a BBQ grill but we didn't use it. Bottom level has another family room and TV, and you exit the bottom level to get to the beach. We loved looking at the ocean, hearing the ocean, and going out on the beach. Parking is great--2 spots right in front of the unit. There were some camp chairs and a badminton set that we used on the beach. Wi-fi was great. Plenty of hot water in the shower.

Not really negative, but to add fuller context, this beach house/condo is in a quiet area that is a few miles from shopping/restaurant areas. There are lots of farms in the area. We ate in Watsonville a couple times, once at a great Mexican place called Tacos al Fuego. The condo is clean and comfortable. As you can see in photos, the decor tends to be in an older style. We didn't try the TVs so I can't comment on those.

Location was beautiful. Home was well equipped, clean, nicely decorated, and homey.

We loved the location. It is right on La Selva Beach.

Unfortunately when we showed up the property was not cleaned. We called the host and they were very reponsive and sent the cleaning crew over so we went out to the beach while they cleaned the property and the host is refunding a portion of the cleaning fee.

Beautiful condo, beautiful view.

Had a little trouble locking the door, and the BBQ needed to be fixed but host was prompt to resolve.

Loved the view from every floor. Close to beach. Beds very comfortable.

The first floor shower needs some repair. The shower upstairs was plugged with sand. Once I plunged it it worked fine. The couches need to be cleaned.
