"Excellent stay. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful views."

The host was very friendly and showed me everything I needed to know about the house and the local area.

Could connect to the WIFI. Tried both codes: one from the welcome book and the other from the device. Though I was able to get the TV to connect to the WIFI. Bathroom needs a little bit of work. Found hairs on the toilet. Shower requires the protection band to be glued.

Kath is such a lovely host. The place is super cosy and comfortable; much better than the photos! The view is lovely, the real English countryside!

Beautiful location Very clean inside with comfortable beds Helpful and friendly host who was happy to assist Well equipped kitchen The one bed cottage was exceptionally good and well designed inside Excellent location for Alton Towers and great base for exploring the area

There was an unpleasant odour in the 3 bed cottage lounge - apparently from a septic tank nearby. Had our stay been longer we would have requested to be moved but it was a one night stay and we arrived at tea time I didn't bother - we were all tired after a long journey. The host, Kath explained it was to do with the septic tank when I queried it but I would have liked to have been informed of this odour in the cottage before our arrival as it was rather offputting Could also benefit from a few books/puzzles/toys for kids for a rainy day.

The place was beautiful. Remote and so quiet with a beautiful view but close enough to where we had planned to visit (Alton towers). Kathy and her husband were amazing hosts who met us with keys, so helpful and gave it that special touch. Can’t wait to visit again.

Súper tranquilo en un entorno rural a 15 minutos en coche del parque de Atracciones Alton Towers. Kath nos ayudó en todo momento e incluso gestionó el retorno de un neceser que dejó olvidado mi hija. De 10!
