"Very different, was a nice break."

We found the town to be spookily deserted. The cottage was nice, everything worked.

Access to the river was difficult. We would not have been able to carry the canoe to the river.

"The setting was very nice and peaceful. just what you need, away from the city."

The kitchen was not very well stocked with necessary kitchen ware. The knifes were very blunt could not even slice bread. There was not a wooden spoon - Rustic you think they would have one.

Loved the little cottage...perfect for our needs and in a beautiful setting.

Some tea, coffee and milk would be appreciated after a long journey given the price of the accommodation.

I enjoyed that outside shower and the privacy the place offers. Really nothing not to like about this place and will be back.

Burning rooikrans in the inside fireplace a bit of an overkill but I assume that area has a good supply of rooikrans.

Everything. It was so quiet around you at night and during the day. One could relax and reload. Its tranquil. The host was at all times friendly and willing to help.
