beautifully appointed with antiques and comfortable lounge furniture, very spacious with a stunning garden with pond viewed from a large enclosed porch, large main bedroom with modern en-suite, second bedroom with view of garden and modern bathroom

kitchen facilities adequate but the some crockery and coffee plunger could be replaced as they are chipped

There is a 'no pets allowed' policy however there are resident cats on this property which we were only made aware of upon arrival. And they are at the front door. Access to the laundry facilities had to be requested.

"Great house in lovely complex"

Home from home. Seemed bigger than the photos showed. Wonderful for 4 friends. So much space. Constance (housekeeper) absolutely delightful. Lovely fire in the house. Felt secure. Plenty of parking. Fully kitted out with everything needed. WiFi good. Loved it. As a serial house stayer, only thing to note is to pack coffee, shower gel, shampoo. Spar is close by to purchase - closes at 18.00

The location was great. There are various coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance of the house. Morning walks within the estate were a daily occurrence and the play area at the club house was ideal for our kids.

The house wasn't 100% set up to accommodate the loadshedding, which was prevalent during our stay. A single gas hob was provided but no gas kettle which would have been nice. Additional candles and potentially a battery back up for the WIFI router would have made the stay more comfortable. Since there was WIFI, connection of the TV to apps such as Netflix and Showmax would have been great.
