Bungalow Beach house 100 yards from the beach

It was a new house, good appliances, comfy sofa, easy to find. There was both a drip coffee maker and Kreurig which was nice. It was at the end of the road and very quiet. We had an issue at check in and it was addressed in 2 hours. Lots of parking. Nice view from deck.

It was very sparsely furnished and sterile. No lamps for reading, no decorations. The master bed was hard, sagged, & very uncomfortable.The bunkbed had a good mattress, but was extremely squeaky at the slightest movement. There was dog hair on sofas (the only seating). No wine opener or glasses, just large plastic tumblers. We had to buy bottled water for drinking. Didn't realize there were 32 steps to climb. The house is not on the bay, but only has a water view. We were offered a partial refund but after first conversation haven't heard any more.

The mini frogs on the carport, the flying insects at the door entrance, amadillo by staircase and carport, NO LIGHTING under the house/carport; trying to part in carport - got stuck twice having to call a tow both times...gravel driveway not good. However our overall stay was really good! My suggestions would be to have a bug zapper on both sides of the entrance - we had to buy bug spray to in/out the door and maybe motion lights on the columns in the carport - because it's really dark under there at night. Also it would nice if a tv was in both rooms😊

The location was great and the view was amazing! We will be booking this bungalow again.

House is lovely, nicely finished with crown molding and nice appliances. (except the washing machine). It was very comfortable. While not on beach, in a good location. Quick response from owners with some problems. This is a very cute place and we enjoyed staying here. Had some bicycles which would have been fun to ride but sadly the tires were flat. Be sure you can climb stairs as they are 33 of them! But the view is cool and it is in a quiet place close by to the downtown shops.

Not enough dishes, glasses (plastic) not in good shape. No hand towels for bathrooms or kitchen. Not enough towels so needed to wash, no soap for washer or dishwasher. Did think would be like other houses/condos with one or two soap packs for dishwasher, sometimes for washer. While soap in bathrooms, too much water added so not really soap. But the washing machine had mold and mildew, as in black mold on inside of machine and very bad smell. Quite a problem. Hard to believe no one had noticed this. They did come to sanitize after several texts. Still as being from another hot location, mold is a worry for the towels and bedding we had already used. Was assured that they did not clean linens on site so did not use this washer or dryer. So some cleaning problems. It did take away from our experience.

Location was good. Most places were only a few miles away. House was roomy and very well kept.

Description says 100yards from the beach. It should read from the water. There is no beach on that side of the peir, so you can't just grab your stuff and walk down to the beach 100 yards away.
