Windsor Cottage - Bolthole in the heart of CN!

Really nice two bedroom cottage with all the facilities for a short stay. Right in the middle of Chipping Norton yet on a quiet street. Location excellent for places we like to visit when returning to the Cotswolds.

Be clear on the bathroom location.

The location and quality of this cottage are top-notch. Parking was usually easy enough to find just south of the cottage on Market St, which was a short and easy walk. The sunset view from the upstairs bedroom was a welcome bonus!

Nothing

Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. We pulled up to the cottage easily to drop off but when the film set was in place that week only, we carried back to the premier inn really close car park. At the time only £3 a night if you pay in the machine right by the premier inn entrance, as advised by their staff. Worked really well. Would highly recommend using it for the cottage as it made coming and going from the cottage really easy with lots of spaces. (The only very tiny issues to highlight to the owners need to maintain the path out the back of the property, to make more pleasant use of the back gate for rubbish. Also just some maintenance like the blind in the bathroom) However I would definitely book again as it’s a great base for Blenheim and the rest of the beautiful Cotswolds. One bathroom which has a massive shower, the lounge was cosy with a log burner and the kitchen was well appointed for our short stay. We really enjoyed our stay at Windsor Cottage. Thank you!

Excellent location. Cottage was warm and comfortable.

Downstairs bathrooms are typical for cottages but not what I'd prefer. The stairs were a bit tricky particularly coming down, when the handrail ended.
