Eagle's Rest Lodge

The cabin was super cute! The hot tub was lovely, but hard to get in for someone on crutches.

The twin bed was missing the top sheet and we couldn't find any sheets in any of the closets/dressers. Not the end of the world, we went out and got a $6 blanket we used for a top sheet. We should have called the owners, but decided it wasn't worth bothering anyone over.

Very cozy and inviting. Everything was very clean. They went above and beyond by preparing the fire kindling before we arrived.

So cozy. It reminded me so much of my family cabin in Colorado that I rarely get to visit. So many fun things that kids can do and the outdoors were beautiful.

The upstairs shower isn't ideal, and the internet was bad in such a remote area. Not a deal breaker for me though.

Scenery was nice.....it was private

No blinds in window, some blinds, some windows no blinds and broken ones, sign outside on side of house was broken, it was dusty....we had to re-clean surfaces, downstairs bathroom shower had hair on floor and drain we cleaned both bathrooms downstairs and sink toilet upstairs.....didn't use tub upstairs......upstairs needs updated. We couldn't get fireplace to work.....idk if this was supposed to happen but when we turned heat on it spelt like something was burning upstairs so we shut everything off to the bedrooms and turned heat off....probably cause it wasn't ran I'm thinking but just letting you know.......no phone service was an issue but we can use internet to video call....we like that you had cable and firestick.....we think the kitchen and downstairs bathrooms were the best looking part of the home. We made do......the city of Asheville it self was very nice....Mountain view was beautiful.....food great....nice people...overall experience was nice.
