Contemporary Cottage outside South Harting

Beautiful location, very peaceful and lots of country lanes to walk with the dogs in the evening. Both the sofa bed & double bed upstairs are very comfy. The kitchen is well equipped and we loved the little welcome biscuits & milk.

It’s such a shame that they haven’t enclosed some of the gravel area outside the property so dogs can be loose and have more freedom. It was quite hot when we were there but we had to shut the dogs inside while we sat outside as they bark when on the lead. I can see this has been mentioned before and that would be the only thing putting me off staying again.

Everything was lovely and tidy, communication is excellent and makes the whole stay stress free and very enjoyable and Jackie is so lovely and the property is perfect for my stays

It's a lovely cottage, very private, great light, great views.

Unfortunately a bit noisy fridge with travelling hum. For my personal taste, the cleanliness could have been better. There were cobwebs in all the corners of the rooms, spiders under the dining table, a calcified kettle, human and dog hair in the sleeping area. While this might not be a big issue for most, I believe that absolute cleanliness is essential for the price paid.

Private, view, evening sun on patio, comfortable, clean, everything we needed & all fully working.

Approach road to it is full of holes & has speed bumps. Towels had been line dried so they weren’t very soft.

Immaculate accommodation in beautiful and peaceful location. Comfortable and well equipped. Thoughtful extras left by host.
