Everything was very smoothly and cozy.

Really lovely property overlooking the lake. We were 3 friends on a road trip and really loved this stop. Kernville had some great food and drink stops (notably the saloon and the brewery) and the tubing down the Kern River was a great activity. Driving distance to the trail of 100 giants if you wanna check out the big sequoias, there'd been a lot of wildfire of late when we went which was a bit of a shame but still got some amazing views on the drive. The property itself is comfortable with everything you need, would definitely stay again

Main bedroom frame was noisy and a little bit uncomfortable.

The price is a little high but we shop around luckily we had 3 couples to split the bill 3 ways

The view of the lake is from the kitchen and the back porch is beautiful. A comfortable and nice home to relax after a day out on the lake or trails. Plenty of games inside and out to play for a fun time with family. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C kept the place nice and cool and cooled the place down pretty fast even on low setting after a hot day.

It's in the name - Views! The views and balcony is the best part about this property. We had a great bbq on the 2nd night and enjoyed the view. It is a short and easy drive into the main town area.

The neighborhood is a little run down, also there was no stereo in the house and we forgot to bring our portable speaker. Having a good sound system would have elevated the stay for sure. A few cobwebs around but not a big issue.
