The house is spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the electric blankets as it was cold when we arrived.

We were not able to check in early as requested but it was not a big deal as the place was ready soon after.

The location was central to all amenities and tourist destinations, including restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The actual property had everything essential for a great stay, including extras like coffee, tea, rusks, fire wood (topped up daily), and more. With South Africa’s loadshedding problem, the property even has a generator that maintains the television, Wi-Fi, and certain lights on the property.

One of the geysers needs attention, as it continually tripped the lights.

Despite the fireplace, we found the house extremely cold. No electric blankets. No wood braai, only gas.

The accommodation is easily accessible. I liked the fact that they have a inverter so you can still watch TV and charge your phone even when there is load-shedding. This accommodation is clean and what is you see on the photos is what you find when you get there.

There is a R1000 security deposit that you have to pay prior to your arrival, I wish that was mentioned on bookings.com to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Overall we founds this to be good value.. The free standing house's location was close to the Notties hub, the pub is within walking distance. The staff kept the house nice and clean The house was spacious with a large garden
