Wonderful host and a beautiful property!

The only small negative was that the smell of the animals made it hard to sit out on the beautiful patio during the evening (in the day you couldn’t smell them).

Amazing piece of nature in stunning property. All facilities we needed, incl bikes, boat on the lake, horses, etc... Maria was an amazingly welcoming host, and cared so much for our vacation to be relaxing and easy + gave us great reccos about surrounding activities and food

The encounter with a bunch of boars during my run in the property, probably my own fault as I jumped a closed barrier, so I understood only after why it was closed

"Wonderful place to stay."

Casa da Horta was a wonderful base for our holiday. The house is beautiful and very comfortable and clean. My children loved the pool and all the animals in the idyllic grounds (dogs, horses, donkey). We even spotted wild boars. Maria was very helpful and accommodated a late checkout which we appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place!
